Microsoft upgrades Copilot with GPT-4 Turbo and DALL-E 3 from OpenAI – Microsoft

As we approach the end of 2023, the world of AI is still full of exciting news.

Microsoft Submitted today Big upgrade to Copilot AI chatbot. This upgrade includes integration with the latest OpenAI model, GPT-4 Turbo, and the DALL-E 3 image generator, among other improvements. These improvements will significantly enhance the overall performance of the service, exactly in sync with the first year of operation.

OpenAI’s latest major language model, GPT-4 Turbo, is the first major improvement users will see. Its integration with Copilot will enable users to handle complex tasks that previous versions of the service were not able to perform, especially with the size of the claim. Specifically, the predecessor could only process up to 50 pages of text as a claim. In contrast, GPT-4 Turbo can handle up to 300 pages, resulting in more insightful answers to user queries. This integration is currently being tested by a select group of users, with plans to make it more widely available in the coming weeks.

The next major upgrade is integration with the latest DALL-E 3 model. The chatbot is capable of producing images of excellent quality while the most important element of the new version is the increased focus on accuracy, ensuring that the image produced is consistent with the claim submitted most of the time. This tool is already available to Copilot users.

But the improvements don’t stop there. According to Microsoft, there are more features on the horizon for Copilot. The Inline Compose tool now includes a Rewrite menu that allows you to select a block of text to be reformatted by ChatGPT. The feature will soon be expanded to all Edge browser users.

Microsoft also has something in store for developers with a new feature set called Code Interpreter. While the tech giant is still keeping mum about the details, it promises that this feature will allow users to perform complex tasks such as data analysis, visualization and mathematics, in addition to regular programming. Code Interpreter is currently undergoing beta testing, and a wider release is scheduled for the near future.

Finally, Bing search is set to get a big boost from GPT-4. The new upgrade will allow expanded search queries for complex topics, providing improved results. Microsoft detailed the features of this upgrade in a blog post. Basically, it searches multiple forms of a query at the same time and automatically discards irrelevant information.
