Sony announced its latest soundbar – HT-S2000. These Dolby Atmos® / DTS®:X® 3.1-channel soundbars deliver cinematic surround sound with Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround. With a newly developed mixer, the HT-S2000 delivers a three-way surround experience even when playing stereo content. The center speaker ensures clear dialogues, while the built-in dual subwoofer delivers deep bass. This soundbar will also be the first device compatible with Sony’s new app | Connect home entertainment.

An immersive surround sound experience

With Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force Pro Front Surround, the HT-S2000 creates cinematic surround sound that lets you enjoy the excitement of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. With Sony’s unique virtualization technologies, the HT-S2000 delivers an immersive audio experience without the need for speakers extra. With a vertical surround engine that puts sound above you and S-Force Pro tuning sound from the sides, it’s like bringing the cinema into your home with the HT-S2000.

With Sony’s newly developed mixer, you can enjoy three-way surround sound not only from surround sound content, but also from stereo audio content, such as video or music content streamed from the Internet or from a Bluetooth® device. Analyzing a track in real time, Sony’s unique technology separates audio into its individual components (such as vocals, sound effects, or instruments) and surrounds them around you, creating an immersive, immersive experience out of almost anything you’re watching.
