The new club of Nikos Vertis

The club restaurant Botox began as a childhood dream of Nikos Vertis, one of its owners. An amphitheater space with dazzling decorations and vibrant colours, combining fine cuisine with diverse musical evenings by top Greek and international DJs. The singer himself took over the artistic direction of the very large space, while Manos Vamvokis of the legendary group Magna – Manos is involved as event director and music director – contributed the sound, bringing house music to Greece.

Club manager Giorgos Sarafidis, a man who has long been a presence in the Athenian night. Completing the team is the bright personality of Lakis Gavalas, who took over the art direction, bringing the necessary fashion touch to the glamorous space. George Sarafidis began our discussion: “Since the closure of Villa Mercedes, for several years now, Athens has been missing an outstanding club restaurant. Since 2012 there has been a confusion in the market between café and bar, and between club and bar. There has not been an offer that combines good food and entertainment then.” . Manos Vamvokis continues: “And with the best music! The mix will be mainly house music with the exception of the R&B night. We have everything from African music to classics and legends, and we will be hosting an EDM ‘legend’ once a month. On March 9, Big American DJ David Morales is expected to be on the Botox set.

“It's a very big investment, with very expensive materials, high quality throughout the manufacturing process, the sound system is the best in Europe at the moment, and the lights are reminiscent of Hollywood sets,” Sarafidis adds. “The investment numbers go beyond the Greek data. It is a premium club restaurant that also attracts foreign tourists visiting Athens. We have many customers who come from abroad. Athens is rising to one of the most prestigious places and destinations in the world. The club was a childhood dream of Nikos Vertis which we have fulfilled. .. He concluded his speech.

The space consists of a restaurant with over 25 tables, which has a terraced view of the entire club. There is also an impressive bar with stepped paths all around as well as a VIP lounge. The hospitality offered by the club, which includes luxury suites, will be linked to the organization of conferences, and its staff is already in contact with international brands to organize events that will put Athens on the international map. In the kitchen, Take, Nobu's “right hand” for many years, is considered one of the ten best sushi chefs in the world. “We will be open from Wednesday to Sunday and the club will operate 11 months a year, while in the summer months it will be outdoors,” Giorgos Sarafidis tells us.
The creative kitchen team serves up dishes containing very interesting Asian specialties such as wagyu beef, miso black cod, fine sushi and raw bar, but also international dishes such as fine chops, blackened lobster tacos and truffle pasta. The final dessert is pistachio botox profiteroles with rich and aromatic pistachio cream.
