Will Türkiye give T-155 Firtina howitzers to Ukraine via the United States?

We have the story of giving Turkish T-155 Firtina self-propelled howitzers (with 155 mm gun) to Ukraine We have heard this since last summer when it was said by Kiev that “we are waiting for this man too.”. But so far, the specific system has not appeared in Ukraine, and no announcement has been made about it.

Russian sources now speculate that the issue will flare up again during Erdogan's next visit to the United States in May to meet with Joe Biden. Ankara, in light of Kiev's great need for weapons and ammunition, has a lot to offer, but with appropriate trade-offs, whether financially or financially. (eg with US financing of a howitzer concession)Whether through transferring knowledge or opening markets.

Türkiye currently has around 300 Firtina aircraft, having also introduced a second, upgraded version. It can also supply Ukraine with a similar amount of ammunition (Turkish companies are already involved in US production of 155 mm shells).

Türkiye: Receives new Firtina self-propelled guns – the first 6 of a total of 140

To date, Türkiye has sold or ceded Ukraine Dozens of Bayraktar TB2 drones, It is not clear how many (35 to over 50 have been reported), some as an initial purchase package before 2022, some as a donor, or at a low price after the invasion, along with MAM-class munitions. About 30 Bayraktar Mini cars were also donated.

They still give 200 BMC Kirpi armored vehicles and Cobra wheeled vehicles, Unknown amount of infantry weapons ammunition, including machine guns, 155 mm artillery shells (100,000 reported), generators, uniforms, anti-tank missiles, etc. However, if Fertina is also given/sold, Ankara will move to another “drawer” of Ukraine's supporters, where we are now talking about heavy war materiel.
