Alsos Veikou: Three minors were brought in because of the fire

A large fire in Alsos Vigo on Sunday (26.5.2024) was caused by sparks and caused a major mobilization of the fire brigade.

In his post on “X” (formerly Twitter) about the fire in Alsos Vigo, the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Vassilis Kigilias, noted that three minors were brought along.

At the same time, Mr. Kigilias draws attention to parents, while underlining that those who set fires, whether through negligence or intent, will be punished with harsher penalties under the new law.

Mr. Gigilias elaborates:

“Yesterday, in the afternoon, there was a very dangerous fire in Alsos Vigo, which required the intervention of not only ground but also aerial firefighting equipment to put it out before it spread. Shockingly, the fire extinguishers used brought three minors.

I draw the attention of parents, and I repeat: Those who set fires, whether negligent or intentional, will be punished with severe penalties under the new law.
