Detroit – Ford Motor It raises starting prices for its electric Mustang Mach-E crossover by more than $8,000 for some models, as it reopens demand banks for 2023.

Pricing for the 2023 Mustang Mach-E will range from about $47,000 to $70,000, up from $44,000 to $62,000 for 2022. Prices do not include taxes and shipping/handover costs.

In addition to the new pricing, Ford said it has changed options and increased capabilities for some Mach-E models. It also increases shipping charges on the Mach-E by $200 to $1,300 on all models.
Ford said the higher prices will take effect for new orders placed starting Tuesday, when bank orders reopen.
The company said that customers with existing unscheduled orders for 2022 will receive a “special offer” to convert to the 2023 model. It is not immediately clear what price will be offered to those customers.
