It is one of the distinctive beaches in Thassos, Saliyara or Marble Beach as tourists usually call it! It is a quaint little beach located in the northeastern part of the island, and its waters acquire some unique colors that are difficult to find anywhere else. The main reason is the marble factory located above the beach, making the beach bright white and the water dark blue, while the surrounding green landscape adds another dramatic touch to the unique landscape.
