The iPhone 16 Pro can bring a very big change in appearance

These years iPhone 15 Pro And iPhone 15 Pro Max They brought several major upgrades, from the camera system and processor to the action button. However, its external appearance is quite similar to last year’s iPhone 14 Pro which changed the formula a bit, having previously left the notch, and introduced the much-discussed Dynamic Island. Now, it seems that Apple is once again preparing to make major changes to the appearance of iPhones.

Going into details, new information was revealed by the well-known leaker Majin Bu, who has leaked correct information many times in the past about the designs of various smartphone manufacturers, including, of course, Apple. In particular, through a post on X (formerly Twitter), Majin reports that the American giant has begun the first experiments with prototypes of the iPhone 16 Pro. The interesting thing is how Instead of a dynamic island, the first iPhone 16 Pro features a perforated design.

This means that instead of the long, narrow, pill-shaped notch, the screen will be obscured by just a small circle, for the front selfie camera. Apparently, it is possible that Apple has found a way or is looking for a way to hide the FaceID sensors under the screen pixels, without affecting the efficiency of the technology. Of course, in other smartphones that tried to hide sensors under the screen, their accuracy suffered greatly, so we do not know whether Apple has actually succeeded or whether it will succeed with its experiments.

However, the leaker points out that by March 2024, we will have a clearer picture, stressing that it is possible that the technology will eventually arrive with the iPhone 17.

For the record, Ross Young, a highly regarded analyst and chief supply chain consultant on the show, has made similar statements in the past. In particular, it was mentioned that this change will indeed come, but with most future Apple models and not the iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 16 Pro Max. So, while the company may conduct internal experiments, it is not necessary for this design to be adopted in the final versions of the devices.
