For the record, Red Dead Redemption was released in 2010 and developed by Rockstar San Diego. It is the second chapter in the Red Dead series, following 2004’s Red Dead Revolver. The game takes place in 1911, during the decline of the American frontier, and follows John Marston, an outlaw, who is forced by the government to hunt down his former gang members in exchange for his family’s freedom.

Its events are a direct continuation of the storyline of Red Dead Redemption 2 and the events that unfold with the Van Der Linde gang and John Marston.
