Neighbors say, “We have never seen that woman. We know a couple lives here, but we have never seen this woman.”
More details are coming to light about the torture of a 22-year-old Albanian woman by her 28-year-old husband in Volos. The man was arrested and charged with torturing the young woman he held captive along with their 2.5-year-old daughter.
The 22-year-old was treated ill by her Albanian husband, who, according to ERT, installed a camera so he could monitor her every move through an app on his mobile phone. He was away from home and at work.
In the two years the woman has lived in the house, they have seen her only twice, walking in their yard, while their 2.5-year-old child has not been seen.
“We have never seen that woman. We know that an Albanian couple lives here, but we have never seen this woman. We all wondered what was going on inside this house, but we couldn’t do anything. We didn’t know what was going on,” says one of her neighbours.
Another woman admitted: “I saw her very rarely. She only went up to the garden. Two or three times over the years. No more. And I was fascinated because she was dressed from top to bottom. Like a hood. I never saw her outside the yard, shopping. I Never saw that child.”
