One person died when the roof of a chicken coop collapsed in Veria on Sunday night.
A 69-year-old man was admitted to the emergency department unconscious.
According to the information provided by the fire department, 5 firemen along with 1 vehicle tried to rescue him.

According to his information veriotis.grThe 69-year-old was working on a structure in his backyard when it collapsed and crushed him. The unfortunate man was attempting to demolish a building used as a chicken coop, when the side pile supporting the structure broke, causing him to be crushed by a board, hit on the head and killed instantly.
The 69-year-old also lost his father 2 months ago.
The incident may have happened around 4 or 5 o’clock on Sunday, but his wife, who searched for him, found him under the rubble after 9 p.m.
