The Euroleague tournament singled out Olympiacos and Panathinaikos players who could receive the MVP award.
A text signed by Javier Gancedo, about the ten players who could receive the Best Player award for the 2023/24 season, has been published on his website by EuroLeague Among them are one from Olympiacos and one from Panathinaikos.
From Piraeus, Nikola Milutinov emerged as “Olympiacos will need different players to lead the team, as the Serbian has what it takes to succeed. He’s a versatile center with unreal rebounding ability. If Milutinov develops into the team’s first option, he could be in contention for the award“Mathias Lesseur stood out among the greens because “He comes after a strong season with Partizan, during which he dominated on both ends of the pitch. He will likely have more talent around him this year. His scoring ability and connection to the world of Panathinaikos could be crucial to the team“.
Milutinov ranks seventh, ahead of Willy Hernangometh (10), Facundo Capasso (9), Kevin Bander (8), and Will Claiborne (6). Mathias LeSueur is in fifth place, ahead of him are Wade Baldwin (4), Nikola Mirotic (3), Mike James (2), and Eddie Tavares (1), who is considered the favorite for the Most Valuable Player award.
