After the service of the resurrection, SYRIZA leader Stefanos Kassalakis went to a restaurant in the center of Corfu for a meal with Tyler and his close associates.
However, the stew did not excite Tyler and he preferred to eat lamb with oven potatoes for the main course. The leader of SYRIZA was in a good mood and discussed with the other groups who chose the particular restaurant.
An unexpected development
Earlier, during the resurrection service, the president of SYRIZA met the Metropolitan of Corfu for the first time on an official platform, having caused a storm of reactions with his statements a few weeks ago.
In particular, he announced that politicians who voted for the Marriage Equality Bill would not be allowed in the House. When asked about this statement, Stefanos Kassalakis replied, “Let me go and dare you to chase me.”
With the above in mind, everyone was surprised when the Metropolitan approached Kassalakis to wish them Easter. The surprise was compounded when those present heard the borough representative say, “Happy birthday, Christ is risen, my love,” while he also congratulated Tyler Macbeth.
