Who gets 100, 150 and 200 euros for the “personal difference” (table)

Who gets 100, 150 and 200 euros for the “personal difference” (table)

e-EFKA plans to prepay the personal difference allowance and according to the information, the amounts will be paid before the 2024 pension increase, specifically in the period from December 11 to 22, 2023.

The number of beneficiaries of the personal difference allowance is approximately 742,772 pensioners. They will have an increase in the compensatory and national pension, but it will be calculated and will not go into their pockets because, along with the pension, they receive an amount as a “personal difference” that is offset against the increases until it becomes zero. Pensioners who do not see the increase going into their pockets will receive a one-off allowance of €200, €150 and €100 depending on the pension amount and provided their personal difference balance is more than €10.

The allowance is proportional to the basic pension or the sum of basic pensions.

*Retirees who have a main pension or an amount of up to 700 euros receive 200 euros.
*Retirees, who have a pension or main amount, from 700.01 to 1100 euros, receive 150 euros.
* Pensioners, who have a main pension or an amount between 1,100.01 and 1,600 euros, receive 100 euros of allowance.

Pensions of more than €1,600 do not receive an allowance.

308,618 pensioners will receive €100, 258,993 will receive €150, and 175,161 will receive an allowance of €200, according to official EFKA data available to Capital.gr.

Since the benefit will be paid first, thousands of pensioners with a small personal difference of between 10 and 20 euros will be able to reduce it to zero with the increase that will follow the payment of the benefit.

For example, a pensioner who earns €1,000 and has a personal difference of €15 will receive a bonus of €150 and then the increase. With 3%, the increase would be €30 of which €15 would be a net profit in the pocket because the remaining €15 would make up the personal difference.

So it will be earned exponentially with bonus and pocket increase.
