Pius: How he justified slapping a flood victim

With the phrase “These things happen when you have to sleep for a month”, Volos Mayor Akhilios Pios responded after slapping a flood victim this morning after an earlier argument.

It all started this morning in the area of Alli Meria in Volos, where the residents gathered, in the case of damming the stream in the area, which they complain is being done without preliminary inspection.

An exchange of characterizations and heavy expressions followed.

“Trambouke, let my hand be cut off for voting for you,” the citizen shouted, while the Mayor of Volos was heard ordering the police to arrest all protesters for obstructing the project, while a resident in the stream recorded the events. .

Beau’s response to the incident

The mayor of Volos, after the incident with the flood victims, published a post emphasizing the following:

“A video of a tense scene between me and the protestors at Alli Meria has been circulating for the past one hour. “These are evident when you have to sleep close to a month, work tirelessly to provide solutions to your fellow citizens and face constant situations (perhaps reactions from outraged citizens),” he added.

“I can accept the reactions, but certainly not the personal insults of the press, and I can’t insult my mother. I act like a human being in such situations, even too much. Unfortunately, not everyone has the logic and understanding of what we are dealing with.”
