After a series of correct choices in the “Song Title” category that earned her a $13,600 prize, contestant Antoinette Myers managed to solve the first three words and part of the last to display the sentence “Two tickets to __r__ise,” before making a fatal mistake in guessing the wrong vowel.
“I’d like to buy a vowel, ‘U’,” Meyers said characteristically as the bug sounded in the combination, as the player reacted visibly in embarrassment and her classmates tried to suppress their laughter at her misfortune.
Then, one of her teammates easily guessed RCorrect phrase, “two tickets to heaven” and win two tickets to Maui, for which he wins a flight plus $5,000 cash.
